Hello CEDP Partners,

As many of you know, I have accepted a position at my local church and am slowly starting the transition process out of Fresno CEDP. Although I am excited about what's next I will miss the weekly collaboration I had with each of you and am incredibly thankful for our time in this capacity.

What can we expect next?
Brian Ross is still committed to strategic planning with us. Since hearing from most of our partners, he is working to develop proposals for the next steps for ALL of the partner organizations to speak into. You will be informed and involved at every point.

I am happy to continue the dialogue on questions or comments during this transition as we continue to dream about the next phase of this amazing partnership!

Warmly,

Andi Lambert

Student Volunteer Opportunity!
American Planning Association Statewide Conference || September 16-19

Shared by Keith Bergthold

Wanted to share this important student opportunity to be a part of the American Planning Association California Conference - September 16-19, 2023 in Fresno!

Really a rare thing to have a statewide focus on Fresno and planners from all over the state convening in Fresno.

Please see attached Student Volunteer Flyer - Hoping this might be seen as a credit-worthy learning opportunity for students - plus $100 stipend for only 4 hours of volunteer support at the event.

Thanks for considering this for any college students you know!

HOUSING WORKGROUP

A new CEDP Housing Spreadsheet was created that will act as a living document for each of the organization's housing projects, updates, and priorities.

Next Steps for Organizing CEDP Housing Projects:
  1. Review the projects within THIS DOCUMENT and update any changes for your organization by May 5th.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the new Housing Spreadsheet and update your organization's tab with all the housing information that you'd like to make available for partner organizations to view.

Helpful Info:
  • You can access this document and other housing files on the Partner Resource Page under the Housing Resources section
    • password: fresnocedp
  • We plan to extend our CEDP Monthly Housing meeting from 1 hour to 90 min to include housing initiative check-ins as well. Please reply to this email with any questions or comments on that idea.
